Inspiration Kitchens (CLOSED)

As part of the Inspiration Corporation’s 13-week program (the same group that runs Inspiration Café), refugees and the recently homeless shadow paid pros at this full-service, contemporary American restaurant. They’ll be gaining experience and a city-issued food service and sanitation certificate, working toward a fresh start on life; but chef Sean Cunneen is making sure you don’t just visit once as a charitable deed. Baked goods and coffee kick-start your day; brunch brings omelettes and more; lunch features belly-fillers like the portobello mushroom melt; and the dinner crowd gets classics like the New York strip.
