The mall location and the LEYE association might bring out the skeptic in hard-core foodies, but we have to admit the food at this affordable Italian spot is good enough to justify a casual dinner after shopping on the Mag Mile. Sardinian-style pizzas featuring red onion, fennel or garlic get things off to a good start. Pastas are standard and typically substantial, but you’d do better to save room for the pepper-smothered, crispy-skinned brick chicken or the tender veal limone. Servers have the robotic spiel down, but if chef “Frankie” is working the room, you’ll glean some genuine hospitality.
