Despite the Christmas light-laden decor, the permanent soundtrack of classical-music “hits” and the puntastic cocktail list (which reinforces the classical-music theme with names like “Too Hot to Handel”), we’re going to resist the urge to call this fondue restaurant “cheesy.” Instead, we’ll call it “memorable,” because while the Swiss-cheese fondue, beef bourguignon fondue (cubes of sirloin cooked in an oil fondue) and the buttery garlic bread that accompanies it all is merely solid ’70s grub, the bizarre experience as a whole is something you’ll never forget.
