The Bridgeport classic is a family business that focuses on Italian food—think Italian beef, pasta and chicken parmesan—plus grill items like hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and pepper and egg sandwiches. The latter features green and yellow bell peppers that are sautéed until they’re pliable and sweet before being wrapped between heaps of fluffy scrambled eggs and piled onto lightly buttered Italian sandwich bread.
