The sandwich scene in the Loop is saturated, making for stiff competition among the masses. Fast-casual Indian is harder to find, allowing for less scrutiny. That's good for Curried, which enters the game with just enough creative options to tip the scales: Indian pizza, kati rolls, biryani and "curry bowls." Tame heat levels, general one-note flavor profiles and menu items like beef vindaloo and Reese's cookies are Anglo dead giveaways, but build a platter of chana masala, chicken tikka masala and garlic nan and you'll have a decent fix for your midday Indian-food jones.
