Time Out says

Go preshow, postshow or without seeing a show at all—the House of Blues’s restaurant is, in some ways, a show in itself. On Sundays, the AYCE brunch is accompanied by a gospel band. And on every other day, the vibrant folk art on the walls provides eye candy. The menu serves Southern staples, and while bowls of gumbo are underwhelming, the corn bread with maple butter is the best sweet in the house.
