Named for chef-owner Kristen Harper's late grandmother, Cleo's puts a modern Creole twist on classic Southern eats in the heart of Bronzeville. Some of Harper's stand-out dishes include garlic herbed salmon, fried chicken and waffles and classic baked mac and cheese. But the talented chef is always adding exciting new options to her menu, like the Flyover, a smorgasbord of Creole fried catfish, lump crab, remoulade sauce, wings and a honey butter corn muffin.
