If you’re the vegetarian who hates the condescending,“Well, I guess we could take the bacon off the cobb salad,” this place will be your nirvana. The 26-page, global, meatless menu takes a while to navigate, with choices inspired from cuisines of America, Italy, Mexico, the Middle East and, most notably, India. Given that the owners of this decades-old veg haven are Indian, we suggest sticking to the filled crêpelike dosas, the rice-lentil pancakes dubbed uttapam, any of the veggie-packed curries and the addictive crunchy-sweet-spicy bhel chaats.
