If you’ve been eyeing some of Chicago’s best restaurants, here’s your perfect excuse to finally try them out. Chicago Restaurant Week kicks off on January 24 at nearly 500 participating eateries in the city and suburbs, featuring everything from Michelin-starred restaurants to neighborhood favorites—all with special prix fixe menus at fixed prices. Winter in Chicago may be brutal, but our city’s cozy bars and restaurants and critically-acclaimed culinary experiences are worth leaving the house for. So get ready to brave the cold; here are this year’s best Chicago Restaurant Week deals.

Where to dine during Chicago Restaurant Week 2025

  • Korean
  • River West/West Town

The first of the two Perilla locations, the Korean-American restaurant in West Loop is a four-time recipient of the Michelin Bib Gourmand Award. For restaurant week, experience traditional flavors and twists on Korean classics with tableside grilling for $60, a fraction of the standard price. Start with favorites like Korean fried chicken alongside other dishes like juicy pork belly, kimchi fried rice and honey butter potatoes. Don’t forget to snap a photo with Korean artist Royyal Dog’s larger-than-life mural of Michelle Obama donning Hanbok, a traditional Korean dress.

The hearty French-Canadian-inspired cuisine at Lakeview’s Dear Margaret is a love letter to Midwestern ingredients. In the intimate and romantic setting—the perfect, cozy antidote to harsh Chicago winters—guests can experience a Restaurant Week dinner for $60. Small plate options include braised beets with pecans and molasses and fried pickled vegetables with beef tallow and tartar, while mains range from sturgeon and duck leg to 21-day dry-aged coulotte steak. James Beard Award-winning Chef Erick Wiliams’ beloved Hyde Park restaurant Virtue is serving up American Southern cuisine at its finest—and for $60 during dinner this Restaurant Week. If you’ve heard the buzz about Joe Flamm’s Adriatic-inspired hotspot Rose Mary but haven't tried it, now’s the time. Vegetarian? There’s a veggie-friendly menu featuring maki, spicy tofu stew, udon and more.

Calling all brunch lovers! Mexican-inspired, Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner La Josie is offering a steal of a deal: brunch for $30. The three-course meal ranges from sampling seafood tostadas and tamales to hearty mains like carnitas, heaping burritos and shrimps, and finishing with rich flan or cajeta-filled cookies.

A Chicago favorite for dimly-lit date nights, Roka Akor’s River North location is serving up a three-course dinner menu for $60. Choose from starters like wagyu beef dumplings or crispy spicy tuna maki and mains such as a six-ounce prime filet, yuzu miso black cod and Korean-spiced lamb cutlets. Sweeten the experience with the final course: matcha cheesecake or chocolate cake. Vegetarian and gluten free-friendly menus are available upon request. Beverage pairings run you an additional $35 per person.

Feast on a five-course, dim sum-style brunch for $30—a significant discount from the standard menu prices—at Stephanie Izard's Chinese-American eatery. Dim sum includes duck-and-goat soup dumplings and duck-and-goat spring rolls, followed by pan-fried pork bao, pork fried rice omelette and Taiwanese cake with ground cherry and pineapple. Add on a la carte options like spicy sticky wings and jiaozi.

The newest concept by the same team that brought Chicago Andros Taverna and Asador Bastian is a self-described “neighborhood pasta project,” taking the best of Italy’s trattorias and using the best local ingredients. For $45, indulge in arancini, homemade ciabatta with basil oil and Calabrian chili butter, and pastas like buffalo ricotta ravioli, cacio e pepe and pomodoro spaghetti. Add wine pairings for only $20—a much more affordable option than other restaurants.
