This tiny storefront has been such a seamless part of this block's makeup for so long that you may not even register that it exists anymore. But it does, and it's still producing the same fine Moroccan food it's been putting out for years. The dim, comfortable room and doting owner are what stand out most about the place. But the muhammara (a spicy spread of chopped walnuts, peppers and olive oil) and the homey tangier couscous (tender lamb over couscous and vegetables) are memorable as well.
