Thailand native Apidech Chotsuwan used to own Bangkok Thai, but after a trip to Japan, he sold his stake to ready this half-Thai, half-Japanese restaurant. Chotsuwan trained the Thai chef to handle standards from noodles to curries, while he mans the sushi bar, serving up nigiri and maki as well as teriyaki and katsu for fans of cooked Japanese fare. In homage to his favorite butterfly hues, Chotsuwan decked out the space in an orange-and-black color scheme.
