The namesake eats at this fast-casual Indian joint are essentially Kolkata-style kathi rolls, warm and flaky rounds of paratha wrapped around chicken tikka, lamb curry or golden turmeric potatoes, all aggressively seasoned and garnished with the bright flavors of pickled onions and cilantro chutney. Samosas are brilliantly bite-size to increase the crust-to-mush ratio, and sweet potato fries get sprinkled with a cumin-heavy spice blend. If there’s an Indian operation in town more poised for Chipotle-style expansion, we haven’t seen it.
