Three native Argentines behind the restaurant and catering company 5411 Empanadas also run this baby-blue truck serving gourmet Argentine empanadas and cookies. The baked (as opposed to deep-fried) pastries are as flaky as they are savory and come stuffed with a half-dozen fillings: gently spiced ground beef; simple ham and cheese; stewed spinach and cheese; soft and sweet caramelized onions; barbecue chicken; and straight-up corn. Look for the occasional guest appearance when the bakers get bored and decide to mix it up.
