When the results come in for the Readers' Choice portion of our annual Eat Out Awards, we're always as surprised as anyone to see who comes out on top. (Also surprising: how many of you voted this year-a record 12,652!) But it was no shock to learn you're full of hometown pride, giving love to local options over high-profile NYC and L.A. imports. As you'll see, Chicago just keeps adding to its wealth of world-class restaurants, bakeries, food trucks and chefs. The only problem with so much talent hitting town? It makes choosing our Critics' Picks damn near impossible.
