Today was supposed to be the opening day of wndr museum, a pop-up experience in the West Loop that hosts one of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirror Rooms. Yesterday, the organizers behind wndr museum announced that the attraction's debut has been pushed back five weeks—according to an Instagram post, a leaky roof is the cause of the last-minute delay.

The leak was reportedly discovered after a VIP preview event at the venue on Wednesday night, where attendees were able to step inside the Infinity Mirror Room, sample flavored vapors and bat at balloons in a "zero-gravity ball pit." Organizers promptly announced the delay and apologized for the last-minute scheduling change, promising to reach out via email to anyone who had already purchased tickets.

Ticket holders have been automatically reassigned passes for a date exactly five weeks from the day they were originally purchased for. The attraction will issue full refunds to those who are no longer able to use their tickets and offer those guests first access when sales begin again. Tickets are not currently being sold through the wndr museum website, and organizers have not announced when they plan to resume sales.

In the meantime, there are plenty of other pop-ups to check out around Chicago. You'll be snapping selfies in a mirror-filled room in no time.
