Looking to soak up the final days of summer before fall in Chicago officially kicks off on September 22? There are few better places to enjoy a nice day than Chicago's many rooftop bars and patio restaurants, which have become even more coveted in the age of social distancing. It's for that exact reason that when Time Out Market Chicago reopened last month it more than doubled its outdoor footprint with an expanded sidewalk patio and an all-season rooftop bar.
On your way into the Market, you'll spot the new sidewalk seating, which overflows into an area that was formerly designated for parking. Umbrella-topped picnic tables await with QR code menus for easy ordering from any of our eight chefs or two bars. Simply place your order through your phone and we'll send you a message when your meal is ready to pick up inside.
When the sun sets, you'll want to head upstairs to the Market's third floor, where you'll find Tony's Rooftop Bar, named for the late Time Out founder Tony Elliott. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with a full-service bar inside and sweeping city views on full display from the terrace.
The bars on the first and third floors offer specialty cocktails, large-format drinks, local beers and wines by the glass and bottle—all curated by beverage director Jon Kahn. On the food front, there's plenty to choose from, including sushi from Arami, tacos from Dos Urban Cantina, burgers from Mini Mott and so much more. And if the weather takes a turn for the worse (as it so often does in Chicago), there's plenty of room to space out inside the Market, too.
Take a look at the stunning outdoor spaces at Time Out Market Chicago, then plan to visit us at 916 W Fulton Market in the West Loop. We're open Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 9pm, Friday from 4 to 10pm, Saturday from 9am to 10pm and Sunday from 9am to 9pm.
