1. L.A. noise-rock duo No Age turn up the volume for a sure-to-be-deafening appearance at the Empty Bottle. No Age, Behavior and Bruised open the 21-and-over event. Doors open at 8:30pm, and tickets are still available for $15.

2. The City of Chicago kicks off farmers market season with programming at Daley Plaza starting at 11:30am. The Daley Plaza Farmers Market will be open today from 7am to 3pm, offering fresh produce from nearby growers, grilled cheese sandwiches from Gayle's Best Ever Grilled Cheese and more.

3. Celebrate National Shrimp Day at Lowcountry, where guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat shrimp boils for $25 per person. Each serving includes corn on the cob, red potatoes and honey-butter jalapeño cornbread. The one-day special is valid at the Lakeview and South Loop locations during regular business hours.
