1. Browse for midcentury furniture, old-school wardrobe pieces, classic vinyl and more at the season’s first Vintage Garage. The multivendor market takes over an Uptown parking structure on the third Sunday of every month from April to October, but the unseasonable cold pushed this year’s kickoff back a week—which could mean smaller crowds competing for classic finds. Vintage Garage opens at 10am, and admission is $5.

2. Inspired by a weirdly ubiquitous category of stock photos that became an online meme, Sheila Callaghan’s subversive comedy Women Laughing Alone With Salad toys with the marketing of gender expectations. The play has just extended its run at Theater Wit; today’s performance is at 3pm, and tickets starts at $24.

3. The weekly Queen! night at Smart Bar celebrates house music in the city where it was born; it’s one of Chicago’s best dance parties. Doors open at 10pm, and admission is $10.
