1. Learn about paleontology with the Field Museum's Brandon Peecook at A Scientist Walks into a Bar, a series of talks that brings experts to the Hideout. Admission is $5 and the conversation begins at 6:30pm.

2. In his Renaissance Society exhibition "Song," artist Alejandro Cesarco arranges drawings, photos and videos in a way that mimics the structure of music. This exhibit is open to the public, free of charge.

3. See some of city's most innovative comedians at the weekly Chicago Underground Comedy showcase. Tickets are $5 and the laughs begin promptly at 9pm.
