Here's a new reason to head to the suburbs: Slick City, the first indoor, waterless slide park to ever open in Illinois, has recently debuted in North Aurora at 1830 Town Center—and it's looking super fun.
Open seven days a week, the 40,000-square-foot destination boasts eight different slides for folks ages 4 and up, including the Cowabunga, the Avalanche and the Big Wave, which looks particularly steep.
There are also two air basketball courts, an air dodgeball court, a swing, a trapeze and a zip line.
According to an official spokesperson, little ones will particularly enjoy the on-site junior area, ideal for those ages three and under.
Outside the long list of attractions, expect a "large selection of hot food, snacks, candy and beverages available for purchase at the park" as well, according to the destination's website.
Let's be honest: Slick City sounds like one of the best things to do on a cold winter weekend day.
