Hot on the heels of Chicago’s Michelin-starred restaurants being revealed, the city has just announced the dates and participants for one of the year’s most-anticipated culinary events: Chicago Restaurant Week.
The annual celebration of the local dining scene will return for its 18th year January 24 through February 9, 2025. For 17 consecutive days, food lovers will be able to enjoy specially curated prix fixe menus, priced at $30 for brunch or lunch, or $45/$60 during dinnertime. It’s the perfect opportunity to try some of Chicago’s best restaurants without breaking the bank.
The lineup for Chicago Restaurant Week 2025 will feature more than 470 eateries, spanning 35 neighborhoods. There will be 71 first-time participants, as well as 50 suburban restaurants. From longtime favorites to buzzy newcomers, diners will have plenty of choices.
The list is long, but here’s a sampling of the restaurants taking part in Chicago Restaurant Week next year: Asador Bastian, Virtue, Moody Tongue, Bar Parisette, Hawksmoor, Smyth & the Loyalist, Maxwells Trading, Eden, Perilla Steakhouse, Monteverde, Momotaro, Miru, RPM Seafood, Tzuco, Lena Brava, Vela Bar y Cocina, Aba, Rose Mary, Daisies, Girl & the Goat, Bazaar Meat, Bar Mar and many more.
If you’re the indecisive type who doesn’t like to pick, Chicago Restaurant Week is throwing a kick-off event on January 23, where guests can savor dishes from over 60 spots, plus beer, wine, spirits and live entertainment. First Bites Bash will be held at the Field Museum and hosted by Adalina chef and Top Chef contestant Soo Ahn. Tickets are available now for $150 here.
