Enjoy today's dryness because, according to meteorologists, tomorrow might bring with it single-digit, freezing temperatures followed by a massive snow storm set to kick off on Wednesday morning and last a total of 12 hours.

According to ABC Chicago, the precipitation is expected to begin as early as 9am, although Wednesday morning's commute "will likely not be impacted." Evening rush hour, on the other hand, will likely be messy as "a total of 4 to 8 inches of snow is possible in the Windy City."

Whatever the case may be, you're going to want to try to stay home on Thursday because temperatures could reach a low of negative 2 degrees. All that beautiful white powder set to envelop us the day before will undoubtedly turn into ice, making any sort of commute even more dangerous. Stay safe!

The weather pattern is not only going to affect Chicago this week. In fact, two major storms are expected to bring snow across Washington, D.C. and New York as well—so a big chunk of America is on high-alert.

For what it's worth, you'll find us binge-watching all the Oscar nominated movies currently available for streaming from the comfort of our own homes or, perhaps, braving the potential storms to visit the city's top restaurants and bars with cozy fireplaces. There's just something about sipping on a well-made cocktail while staring at the snow outside that fills us with excitement.
