Ladies and gentlemen, not to rush through summer, but we're delighted to report that officials have just dropped the full music and food lineup for this year's Taste of Chicago, which is scheduled to take over Grant Park near Buckingham Fountain between September 6-8—and things are looking awesome.
“For more than four decades, Taste of Chicago has grown into a global institution, inviting Chicagoans and visitors alike to enjoy our city’s expansive culinary and cultural ecosystem,” said Mayor Brandon Johnson in an official statement. “In addition to the renowned food experience, I’m thrilled to welcome the performing artists from Chicago and around the world to Grant Park for a must-see weekend of entertainment, cuisine and community unlike any other.”
As usual, you can expect vendors and food trucks to be serving top-notch fare that crosses culinary boundaries and cuisine types. Free musical performances—including ones by headliners CeeLo Green, Yahritza y Su Esencia and Atlas Genius—will delight as well.
