After popping up in New York City and Los Angeles, Refinery29's eye-catching 29Rooms exhibition has finally made its way to Chicago, taking up residence in a warehouse located just north of Union Park in the West Loop. Titled "Turn It Into Art," the show encompasses a variety of installations that allow guests to interact with creative environments in interesting ways.
Some of our favorite installations on display include a disco ball-filled space that was created in collaboration in singer-songwriter Lizzo and a Clinique-sponsored room featuring a springy floor, where guests can bounce around in a sea of plastic bubbles. Other notable pieces include a display where attendees can put on colorful outfits and become part of an abstract painting by artist Alexa Meade, as well as a giant neon rainbow that's perfect for a souvenir selfie.
29Rooms will only be on display in Chicago through Sunday, July 29, though unfortunately, all tickets to the exhibit are already sold out. You can still take a peek inside of the space by checking out these videos and photos from the immersive installations that populate the show.
