It's not easy being green, but Charm'd, the St. Patrick's Day pop-up bar at Deuce's and The Diamond Club, pulls it off in style. The shamrock-covered concept was produced by Smartmouth Designs, the same team that brought the Santa Baby pop-up to Wrigleyville during the holiday season.

Similar to Santa Baby, Charm'd has several different themed areas for guests to enjoy. Upstairs, you can sample seven different varieties of Jameson in the Jameson Tasting Room. If you'd rather drink Irish beer, the pop-up also has four different kinds of Guinness available. Before you go downstairs, make sure to check out the St. James's Gate, a replica of the Dublin landmark that makes a great Instagram backdrop.

Deuce's and The Diamond Club's outdoor patio has been transformed into Lucky Lanes, which is covered in green lights and features a giant pot-of-gold ball pit that you can jump in. The outdoor area also houses Shenanigan's Shot Bar, where you can take a rainbow-colored shot in a glass made of ice and then chuck the frozen vessel against the wall (it's just as fun as it sounds).

The main attraction at Charm'd is a festive lineup of sharable cocktails, with names like Unicorn Dream, Shamrock'd, Pot O' Gold and the Irish Mule. Our favorite was the Shamrock'd, the bar's playful take on a classic margarita that adds in a few shots of Jameson for an extra kick. For traditionalists, there's also a more typical cocktail menu that features an Old Fashioned made with Bénédictine, an herbal French liqueur, instead of simple syrup.

If you're doing it for the 'gram, an over-the-top milkshake should bring in the likes. There are six to choose from, and each comes with an optional alcohol pairing if you want to add some booze to the mix. Like the themed cocktails, the milkshakes are super-sized, so you'll definitely need a couple of friends if you plan on finishing one. Of course, eating when imbibing is always a good idea: Charm'd offers a small menu of entrees and appetizers, including green and gold sliders, green quesadillas and pesto hummus.

Throughout the month, Charm'd will host nightly events such as bingo, painting, magic shows, karaoke and a March Madness kickoff party. While admission to Charm'd is free, you'll need to snag a ticket for guaranteed entry. If you want to visit the bar on St. Patrick's Day weekend, be prepared to pay a $10 cover for the privilege of drinking a boozy green milkshake among a sea of twinkling shamrock lights.

Charm'd is open through March 31, which means that you have an entire month to soak in the over-the-top St. Patrick's Day decor. Take a look at some additional photos of the pop-up bar below.
