Need a boost right now? That was a rhetorical question. Feel good and do good this weekend when you virtually screen 40 minutes worth of cute cat videos while supporting beloved Chicago movie house Music Box Theatre.
Starting Friday, April 10, cat lovers can stream Best of CatVideoFest, a highlight reel that includes the all-time best footage from the longstanding festival. In previous years, CatVideoFest was an opportunity for feline fans to gather together and watch hilarious, heartwarming clips at the Music Box Theatre. Since we can't gush about kittens at the Southport theater at the moment, CatVideoFest curator Will Braden is delivering a 40-minute dose of cuteness straight to your apartment.
The fundraiser, which operates on a pay-what-you-can model, will raise money for Music Box Theatre. Rent the 40-minute flick for as little as 99 cents, or throw in a few extra bucks to show your support for the historic theater and its staff. Make sure to save a spot on the couch for your favorite feline friend!
