It took over a decade, but it finally sold: Michael Jordan's former home in at 2700 Point Lane in Highland Park has closed for $9.5 million after being on the market for 12 years, according to the listing on the Compass website.
The 56,000-square-foot property was originally listed for $29 million in 2012. A few years later, in 2015, the listed price went down to $14.855 million—add up the digits and you'll get the number 23, the player's legendary Chicago Bulls jersey number.
With nine bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, a regulation-sized basketball gum, an infinity pool, tennis court and more, the property was custom designed for Jordan, who bought it in 1991 and moved in in 1994.
"NBA Superstar Michael Jordan's seven-acre estate is as legendary as His Airness himself," reads the official listing. "The 56,000 square foot property-equipped with every conceivable luxury amenity-is a physical monument to his tireless dedication and hard work."
Although we missed our chance at making the home ours (yes, we are kidding), we'll console our spirits (and wallets) by browsing through photos of the amazing property.
