As it turns out, dating apps can get weird in times of quarantine—who would have thought? If you're looking for an unconventional way to meet someone new this year, Netflix's fan-favorite dating show Love Is Blind is currently casting in the Chicago area. The premise of the series is a bit complicated, but here's the skinny: Eligible singles "date" and get engaged without ever actually seeing each other in person. Once they pop the question, they meet, jet off on a tropical getaway, move in together and—if everything goes according to plan—get married.

Single Chicagoans are invited to apply for the show by filling in a 46-question application, which covers everything from physical appearance and education to religion and sexuality. There are plenty of matchmaking questions, too, including "Are you open to dating someone who is divorced and/or has children," "What are your deal breakers?" and "Where are you currently meeting potential mates?" Applicants must be 21 and over and are required to upload photos of themselves to be considered.

Netflix representatives confirmed via email that the casting process for Season 2 is taking place in Chicago but that production logistics have not yet been locked in. Whether or not the show is filmed around town, you can expect to see lots of Chicagoans featured in the second season of Love Is Blind—here's hoping none of them is your ex.
