Riot Fest is headed back to Chicago.

The annual rock, metal, emo and punk music festival will be returning to Douglass Park next month, where it has been held every year since 2015. This comes after the fest had announced in June that it was relocating to Bridgeview’s SeatGeek Stadium—a move that Riot Fest owner and co-founder Mike Petryshyn said at the time was “solely because of the Chicago Park District.”

The relationship between organizers and the city has seemingly improved since then.

“We’re not just coming home—we’re coming back stronger, with an even greater purpose and doubling down on our commitment to Chicago, our fans, and our community. Riot Fest was born and bred here; it’s where we belong,” reads a statement on Riot Fest’s official website.

The event is still scheduled for September 20-22 and all previously purchased tickets will be honored. Those who opted for a refund after the move to SeatGeek Stadium was revealed will have the opportunity to repurchase tickets at the original early bird price.

As an extra incentive, Riot Fest is offering a special promotion: Fans who purchase their tickets through a friend’s referral link will receive a 20% discount, as will the referrer. The deal runs through August 31.

Attendees who have already secured accommodations near SeatGeek Stadium can take a free shuttle from the Midway Hotel Complex to Douglass Park by filling out a shuttle request form.

This year’s lineup is headlined by Fall Out Boy, Beck, Pavement and Slayer. Other notable names include Public Enemy The Offspring, St. Vincent, Rob Zombie, Bright Eyes, Sublime, Dr. Dog and The Marley Brothers. NOFX, who is currently on its farewell tour, will also play all three nights at a special NOFX World section. More than 90 musical acts are slated to take to the stages over the three days.

“RiotLand,” the name for the 2024 festival grounds, is also back at Douglass Park. Guests will be able to enjoy a host of food and drink vendors, plus activities like a casino, an arcade, a gay nightclub and other activation experiences.

Tickets are on sale now for Riot Fest. Single-day General Admission starts at $100, two-day general admission starts at $190 and three-day general admission starts at $270. VIP passes, which include unlimited re-entry, access to a VIP lounge, air-conditioned restrooms and more, start at $150 for one day, $290 for two days and $370 for three days.

The Deluxe tier provides attendees with access to a lounge with open bars, complimentary snacks, private seating areas, Wi-Fi and more. One-day Deluxe passes start at $300, two-day at $600 and three-day at $900. If you’re looking for the best possible experience, a Deluxe+ pass—priced at $650 for one day and $1,550 for three days—gets you all of the aforementioned benefits along with a fully-stocked, all-inclusive private bar, upscale seating in shaded areas, personal concierge service and a complimentary massage therapist.
