Summer may be coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean al fresco dining season has to end.

Join us at Time Out Market Chicago on September 26 for a mouthwatering pig roast outside on the front patio! Lil Amaru chef Rodolfo Cuadros will be whipping up a Caribbean-style feast while guests bask in good vibes under the sun.

The experience will kick off with a welcome drink and swag items courtesy of Estrella Galicia. You’ll then sit down to a multi-course, family-style dinner, starting with bacalaitos—codfish fritters—dressed with crème fraîche and caviar, along with Colombian empanadas.

For the second course, guests will be treated to a coconut arugula salad, followed by Cuban-style fried chicken with stewed potatoes and vigorón slaw. The star of the show, roasted pork marinated in citrus mojo, will be served alongside rice and beans, plantains and chicharrones.

Don’t forget to save some room for dessert, either. Panela crème brûlée will send you home on the highest note.

Tickets to the event are $65 per person and available via Eventbrite. But don’t fret if you can’t make it; the Market hosts events and activations every week—from Oktoberfest celebrations to candle-making classes and morning workouts. You can check out the full list of happenings here.

And if you haven’t visited the Market in a while, there’s never been a better time. The star-studded collection of chefs and kitchens in Fulton Market has recently been joined by QXY Dumplings, 2d Restaurant and Libanais. So stop by for dumplings, mochi doughnuts, shawarma and more!
