Millennium Park is celebrating its 20th anniversary next month and there are a bunch of things happening all around the city to honor the momentous occasion.

First of all: The Bean has officially reopened!

Also: Millennium Park's 20th anniversary celebration will bring along with it four days of free performances, family-friendly programming, new public art and on-site activations that are sure to delight all types of attendees.

Perhaps most exciting, though, is the upcoming free concert by the one-and-only South Side native Common, who is set to take the Jay Pritzker Pavilion stage alongside the Grant Park Orchestra this Saturday, July 20.

Although free to attend, you'll still have to do some planning. Here's the breakdown:

When is Common's concert in Chicago?

Academy Award-, Emmy- and GRAMMY-winning artist Common will perform with the Grand Park Orchestra on Saturday, July 20 at 7:30pm. Gates will open at 5pm.

How do I get tickets to Common's concert at Millennium Park in Chicago?

There are three ways to catch the show at Jay Pritzker Pavilion.

Premium reserved seats, which cost $125 each, are still available for purchase right here. To note: These tickets are fully tax-deductible and benefit the Grant Park Music Festival's summer of free programming at the park.

Over the past month, folks have been able to reserve free seats by the stage as well but those have, unfortunately, sold out.

The easiest option, though, is watching the show from Millennium Park's Great Lawn. Although no reservations are required, seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis—so try to get there early.
