Chicagoans are (rightfully so!) super excited about Jon Stewart's The Daily Show and Stephen Colbert's Late Show hitting the road this summer and broadcasting from Chicago during the Democratic National Convention from August 19 to 22.

Tickets for both of the events are finally available to the public. Even more exciting: the passes are free. That being said, you're going to have to take a few steps to secure yourself access to the tapings.

Here are all the details:

The Daily Show staff will tape four episodes in Chicago from August 19 through 22 but no announcement has yet been made about the exact location of the recordings. Tickets, however, are currently available.

To snag passes, head to 1iota.com and request tickets for any of the available dates.

Fair warning: according to the website, "tickets are issued in excess of capacity." That means that having a pass does not guarantee you admittance—so head to the to-be-announced location relatively early if you want to maximize your chances of catching the shindig.
