Hawksmoor, the renowned London steakhouse that opened a Chicago location this past June, is bringing one its more popular British traditions to this side of the Atlantic: the Sunday Roast.

Available every Sunday from noon to 4:30pm starting September 29, the meal will feature a menu similar to the one currently on offer at the New York outpost. Think beef-dripping roasted potatoes, roasted carrots, Yorkshire pudding, onion gravy, buttered Brussels sprouts and much more.

"The tradition of Sunday Roast dates back to the 15th century where large joints of meat were roasted on a spit over an open fire, strictly on Sundays as some abstained from eating meat on certain days of the week due to religious affiliations," reads a release about the new offering. "Many who have had a Sunday Roast equate it to a Thanksgiving dinner—a comforting, filling meal that is best in the company of loved ones. And, should a Bloody Mary, or two, be consumed alongside it, who are we to judge?"

Whether it's for the Sunday Roast or not, Hawksmoor should be on your radar the next time you're looking to dine at one of Chicago's best restaurants: The 137-year-old, three-story space in River North is beautiful, the steaks are out of this world (and made with all-natural beef), the drinks prepared in the mirrored wraparound bar are excellent and the plush booths are oh-so-comfortable.

Basically, you'll never want to leave.
