Chicago has spent the entire month of June celebrating LGBTQ Pride, but the festivities culminated this weekend at the annual Chicago Pride Parade. As usual, crowds lined the streets in Uptown, Lakeview, Boystown and Lincoln Park as a procession of colorful floats, dancers, bands and other participants made their way south through a sea of cheering attendees. According to attendance estimates, more than one million people showed up to the event, making it one of the largest Pride celebrations in the nation.
