When we heard that Chance the Rapper was helping organize a concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics, we suspected that he might also be performing at the event. As it turns out, our presumptions were correct—Chance announced this afternoon via Twitter that he'll serve as the headlining act at the concert, which will take place on Saturday, July 21 at Northerly Island. The last time Chance headlined a festival in Chicago, he took the stage on Saturday at Lollapalooza 2017.

In addition to previously announced performers such as Motown legend Smokey Robinson, pop singer-songwriter Jason Mraz and alt-rockers OAR, Chance also revealed that R&B singer Usher, “Don't Let Me Down” vocalist Daya and synth-pop outfit Francis and the Lights will also join the bill.

The concert takes place during the same weekend as Pitchfork Music Festival, meaning that anyone with tickets to both events will have to skip out of Union Park early (and miss sets from Fleet Foxes, the War on Drugs, Blood Orange and Raphael Saadiq) to get to Northerly Island for Chance's party.

Tickets for the Special Olympics 50th Anniversary Concert are on sale now, with prices ranging from $50 for lawn seats to $150 for general-admission pit tickets.
