No Halloween movie marathon is complete without the 1993 family comedy Hocus Pocus, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as a coven of evil witches vying for immortality. Fans of the flick will want to plan their annual screening around a trip to the new "I Put a Spell On You" pop-up cocktail bar, which opens at Homestead On the Roof on Saturday, October 24.

The Hocus Pocus-themed bar will transform the West Town rooftop into a spellbinding experience with a menu to match. On the cocktail front, guests can peruse a lineup of cheekily named sippers, like the Petunia Face with vodka, yellow chartreuse and lemon with a suspended-flower ice cube or the more complex Amok! with cognac, dark rum, amaro, and banana liqueur. The shareable California Laid Back Tie Dye Point of View is served in a bong, with vodka, Cointreau, passion fruit, cranberry, lime and edible tie-dye sparkles.

Chefs Chris Teixeira and Christo Vlahos also looked to the movie's most notable quotes for the accompanying food menu. Ordering the Dead Man's Toes will score you skewers of grilled teriyaki beef served with kimchi aioli, scallions and sesame seeds. For a heartier entrée, try the Devil Himself, a Nashville hot fried chicken thigh served in a bright-red brioche bun with pickled red onions, romaine and mayo. For dessert, choose between a raspberry-infused chocolate pot de crème or sugar-coated churros accompanied by mango-lime sherbet.

During its two-week run, "I Put a Spell On You" will also host a family-friendly pumpkin-carving event (October 25), a themed weekend brunch menu (October 31, November 1, 7 and 8) as well as photo opportunities galore. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made throughout the pop-up's run, from October 24 through November 8. Take a closer look at some of the Hocus Pocus-themed cocktails and treats available at "I Put a Spell On You," hosted at Homestead on the Roof, located above Roots Pizza at 1924 W Chicago Ave.
