It is, officially, winter: Chicago experienced the first snow of the season yesterday (right on schedule, we might add).
Although the slush has mostly dried up by now, we are holding on to images of the city enveloped in white just a few hours ago, as magnificent as ever.
We're sure there will be a lot more powder coming down in the next few months but, for now, we'll just seek repair from the cold in our cozy homes while looking through these beautiful pictures of Chicago during and after the first snow of the season to remind us of the power of Mother Nature:
