Hailing from the medieval fortress city of Sighnaghi in Eastern Georgia (the country, not the state), Zedashe sings three-part harmony chants and folk songs accompanied by an array of traditional instruments. Finnish folk quartet Kardemimmit supports, playing songs on the kantele, a 38 stringed instrument that sounds like a cross between a harp and dulcimer.
