A one day alternative rock festival in a suburban amphitheatre? It'd be quaint and nostaglic if it weren't kind of insufferable. Two megamerchants of grandiose Hollywood angst, Linkin Park and 30 Seconds to Mars headline this radio station exhibit. (Aww, radio!) Nineties veterans AFI and Local H get the amps heated up. Wild Cub, Sleeper Agent and Junior Prom counter the throaty wails with chirpier pop rock, ranging from emo to modern Starbucks stuff.
