The Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians teams up with the Old Town School of Folk Music to present a concert commemorating Juneteenth, the celebration of the Emancipation Proclamation and the abolishment of slavery in the United States. The free streaming show features performances from the Young Masters (an ensemble of high school and college musicians that formed during a young artists' mentoring program) and the Great Black Music Ensemble, which counts Chicago artists like Dee Alexander, Angel Bat Dawid and Micah Collier among its ranks.
