Transference Fest

Northwestern University's radio station WNUR curates a two-day festival at Elastic Arts in Logan Sqaure that presents a smattering of experimental musicians from Chicago and beyond. Los Angeles-based Americana explorers Gun Outfit headline Transference Fest's first night, joined by psychedelic hip-hop duo Mukqs & Sharkula and noise artist Tallulah Bankheist. The second night of the festival hosts a late-night set from Brooklyn electronic producer Bergsonist (accompanied by 3D projections from Jesús Hilario-Reyes), instrumental hip-hop producer King Vision Ultra and electronic improviser Ikue Mori.
