Tool + Killing Joke

More than a decade after the release of 10,000 Days, prog-metal titans Tool have finally unleashed their fifth full-length album... and the results are pretty much what you might expect. Years of refinement and rethinking have imbued the heady riffs and unconventional time signatures that populate Fear Inoculum with little of the excitement or unpredictability of Tool's earlier records. Still, Tool fans have been waiting on the album for large portions of their lives, so they'll show in droves to hear Maynard Keenan and company break in the new tracks onstage. English post-punk act Killing Joke opens the show.
