The Meters Experience

New Orleans funk band the Meters backed artists like Robert Palmer and Dr. John, establishing each artist's swampy, groove-heavy sound. The original lineup of the group disbanded in the late '70s, but various members of the band have reunited throughout the years. For this Halloween performance, original Meters guitarist Leo Nocentelli teams up with Bernie Worrell of Parliament/Funkadelic to present an evening of funky tunes.
