You may vaguely remember the Faint as just one shade in the compact of dance-punk bands that colored the face the rock & roll in the early '00s. But the Nebraska act (really, bands come from there) had surprising impact on the generation who became EDM superstars. Chicago kids Krewella cite them as a favorite. Not surprising, as the Faint always played up the glam-goth elements and raged a little harder on the low end. Your guyliner is welcome here. Case in point, this comeback tour and the new album were dubbed Doom Abuse.
