Husband-and-wife duo Tennis wrote their first record after an eight-month sailing trip, so its no surprise that its latest work keeps the nautical imagery that has characterized the band's output intact. Married couple Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley sketched out the melodies of Swimmer aboard a boat anchored in a cove on the coast of California. The self-produced (and self-produced) glitters with organs, synths and Moore's silky vocals, often evoking the sunny sounds of ’60s pop that the group has frequently referenced.
