On Beware of the Dogs, the Australian singer-songwriter addresses uncomfortable topics earnestly, assembling a collection of indie-rock ballads that never shy away from speaking up for herself and others.& And while there's nothing funny about the behavior her lyrics address, Donnelly doesn't let that stop her from landing a few hard-hitting punchlines along the way. Headlining Lincoln Hall during the Tomorrow Never Knows music festival, Donnelly is joined by local singer-songwriter V.V. Lightbody and Cincinnati rockers the Ophelias.
