From its seemingly Dungeons & Dragons-derived name to the brutally heavy music it makes, Skeletonwitch is a textbook metal band. Filled with techincal riffs and rapid-fire bass drum hits, the group's new EP, The Apothic Gloom, marks the Ohio band's first outing with vocalist Adam Clemens, formerly of sludge metal act Wolvhammer. The rest of the bill reads like a list of rejected names for Game of Thrones swords, including Iron Reagan, Oathbreaker and Homewrecker.
