Local '60s-by-way-of-the-'90s throwback psych-rock act and Anglophiles (hence the "u") Secret Colours will release two EPs this year, an album in two parts, really-Positive Distractions Part I and Part II. "It Can't Be Simple" smears colors and shakes it bob with heavy tambourine rattle, blasts of garage sale orga, and guitars sporting more fuzz than all the upper lips at a monster truck rally. It's revival done right.
