Red Bull Sound Select: Thundercat

Red Bull has put together a corker of a bill, with bass mastermind and constant Flying Lotus collaborator Thundercat dropping his heavy fusion grooves. Opening are two of the more fascinating local hip-hop duos, the electronics-heavy Sicko Mobb, who approach J-Pop and Passion Pit with their cartoon maximalism, and Leather Corduroys, the most left brain members of Chance the Rapper's SaveMoney crew, who dabble with psychedelic pop and funk.
