R. Kelly

It's difficult to think of a modern musician whose has been (rightfully) dragged through the mud as much as R. Kelly. Accusations of alleged sexual crimes have haunted his entire career, and more recent reports by journalists Jim DeRogatis and Jessica Hopper seem to confirm that the so-called "King of R&B" is a monster. That hasn't stopped Kelly from headlining the 2013 Pitchfork Music Festival, releasing new albums and generally getting a pass from anyone who enjoys "Ignition (Remix)."
